cade. chair.

The Cade chair doesn't look like a chair at all, which is the whole point of its design. It was made by OVO, "a duet of thirtysomething Brazilian designers who aim to produce furniture that are functional but also entertain and stimulate our imagination." tree. wall. rack.

Michael Young and Katrin Petursdottir have come up with a fun, attractive way to hang your coats, hats and whatnot with their simply named Tree Wall Rack. ballerina. (you know, for valentine's day!)

Here's a cute chair for you on Valentine's Day. The Ballerina has an "aw shucks" heart shaped back made from tubular steel, painted in one of three colors. The seat is covered ("literally draped") in a lycra cover that fastens via snaps so it can be changed as desired. It runs $477 and extra covers will run you $239.P.S. Alredhead is right...there are 5 finishes, 3 paint and 2 metal.

blue. desk.

If you don't have a lot of space but you do have a lot of cash and you're in the market for an acrylic desk, you might want to consider Paul Kelley's Blue Desk. Closed it looks like a small table, but pull open one side and you'll find a chair integrated into the design. The blue modern exterior is nicely paired with a more traditional mahogany interior. It will cost you $29,921 and takes 12
